Dental Fillings

In our office, the dentist uses composite fillings. Amalgam is another type of filling, however amalgam filling is not one that we use here. Some critics of amalgam filling view the mercury in amalgam potentially toxic. Some dentists even use the term "silver filling" when in fact the filling has more mercury in it than it has silver.

Another advantage of using composite filling is the ability to match the color of your teeth.
